There are few individuals that you meet in life who stand out against the sameness of the American music establishment. This special and unique person offers a refreshing alternative to the norm---a strong character, a driven personality to succeed, an uncompromising passion for their music, and a special charisma on stage which truly shines, touches, and envelopes the audience in a distinctive way.

No stranger to hard work, Dario has taken up to five different jobs at once, to fund his dreams of fulfilling a musical career. He is driven to push 200% towards his vision, excellence, and profession.

Dario was born, of humble circumstances, in the beautiful desert community of Tucson, Arizona. He seemed destined for greatness at the early age of three. Often Dario would entertain and delight members of his extended family with his mature vocals and creative dance routines. Armed with his exceptional talent and desire, as well as the committed support and encouragement of his family, young Dario captured 1st place awards in various local Arizona competitions and talent shows. His first true “big break” came while performing at the “Search for Stardom Convention.” Dario also participated on top rated shows such as The WB’s “Popstars 2,” the second season of the wildly successful TV program, “American Idol” on Fox, and enjoyed the opportunity of performing a comedy skit on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Because of his talent and unique experiences in music, he was interviewed by “Access Hollywood” about his impressions of the modern music industry.

Dario has opened for established R&B artists, KC & JoJo as well as Ashanti, during a promotional tour which included stops in Arizona, Texas, Las Vegas, and California. Dario also headlined a 3-month tour promoting “Lies” across the western region of the country. He’s graced the covers of over 9 International magazines and appeared on numerous television programs, which include the red carpet events for the Grammies and The American Music Awards.

Dario firmly believes in and supports giving back to the community. He has taken part in numerous charity foundations such as:

  • Breast Cancer Awareness
  • Aids Awareness
  • The Kiki Shepard Celebrity Bowling Challenge for Sickle Cell Anemia and
  • Creating Connections: Making Dreams Come True for Our Youth

Dario’s first single, ”Be” was released on April 20th 2004. “Be” debuted at #1 in Arizona and in the #2 spot throughout the United States during that week. The anticipated follow up single “Lies” released June 21st 2005 scored even higher. “Lies” quickly shot up the music charts, spending 4 months on the dance chart and 6 weeks on the sales chart.
